Education and Research

Currently serving as a consultation cardiologist and clinical electrophysiology fellow at The Alfred Hospital, Dr Segan is also pursuing a full-time PhD in cardiac electrophysiology at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and the University of Melbourne. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors including Professor Peter Kistler, Professor Jon Kaman, and Associate Professor Sandeep Prabhu, she is delving into research aimed at optimising outcomes for patients with AF and heart failure.
